Google’s next Nexus device is having a hard time staying a secret. Over the last few days photos have shown up from multiple sources, each containing a little more information than the last. It has now become clear that Google is releasing a device with LG that is nearly the exact same size as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, though without the curved design that Samsung and Google promoted last year. Now it seems the LG E960 has posed in front of a much higher quality camera, and with those photos come even more information.
For the first time, we’re seeing a high quality images of all sides of this device. The back of the LG device, which previously looked downright glittery, now reveals a texture pattern that closely resembles the original Nexus live wallpaper. The new photos of the sides of the device reveal that this is the first Nexus device to abandon the POGO pins for charging, leaving the power, volume, and SIM tray as the only protrusions on the sides of the device.
