It hasn’t been all that long since Asus started shipping the original PadFone, but the company clearly wasn’t satisfied with its first effort. Today, Asus unveiled the PadFone 2 just six months after its progenitor went on sale in Taiwan.
Thanks to all the leaks that cropped up in the days leading up to the launch, we already had a pretty good picture of what the PadFone 2 was bringing to the tablet. The processor has indeed been bumped to a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro clocked at 1.5GHz, which sits alongside 2GB of RAM and 16, 32, or 64GB of internal storage.
